A middle aged boy in Homabay County has been arrested after he was caught engaging in an unnatural act with a neighbour’s goat.
According to the villagers, it is not the first time the boy is being accused of such an offence.
The boy escaped with his life after he ran into a nearby police post to seek protection from irate villagers.
He was later taken to Homa police station alongside the goat for the extraction of exhibit to facilitate legal action.
A witness narrated how he heard the goats bleating in the middle of the bush and he decided to go out and find out what was happening.
“I heard the goats bleating when I was fetching firewood and decided to go and find out why.
“It was sunny and so hot during the day, so I took my time and when I reached there I saw someone squating behind a tied got but his shoes and trouser were some distance,” said Rony William.
The incident took place in Homa village in Homabay North County at 2.30pm.
The matter was reported to Homabay North Police station.
He tried to defend himself saying he was not guilty and that he had been mistaken, but the eyewitness snaped him while in the act and he admitted having committed the crime.
His mother tried to plead with the eyewitness to forgive him, saying the boy is a student and should not be taken to the police.She promised to pay for any fines needed for the course.
According to Homabay deputy police commissioner Kefa Odindo report, the 21-year-old identified as Paul walwang’a was in the act after he sneaked into the bush where the animals were tied during the day.
The police boss adds that “the accused was found half naked committing the offence after he had tied the goat with a nylon rope on rear limps.”
“An alarm was then raised and neighbors arrested the suspect and reported the matter to us,” Odindo said.
Odindo said police officers attached to Homa AP Camp responded and arrested the suspect.
According to Odindo, the officers found “two (2) pieces of used condoms and escorted to the Homa AP Camp awaiting to be taken to Homabay North police station.” Odindo added.
