Fugitive police officer Caroline Kangogo on Thursday night, July 15, shot herself dead at her parent’s home in Nyawa village Elgeyo Marakwet.
After playing hide and seek with the police for over one week she has finally decided to do that despite her parents persuading her to surrender to the police.
Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya confirmed the officer’s demise on Friday, July 16.
“According to reports from our police in Keiyo, Caroline arrived home about 5 a.m., but did not enter the house, and at around 7 a.m., she went into the toilet and killed herself,” Natembeya claimed.
Kangogo was wanted for allegedly murdering two men in a two-day span.
Kangogo allegedly shot a police constable and left him dead in his car at Kasarani police station in Nakuru County on Sunday, July 4.
She allegedly killed another man the next day, on Monday, July 5, at the Dedamax Hotel in Kimbo, Juja.
