Corporal Caroline Kangogo’s family carried out her intention to bury her in a bridal gown, as stated in a suicide note discovered at the crime site where she allegedly committed suicide, on Thursday, July 29.
According to sources during Kangogo’s funeral at her parent’s home in Anin, Elgeyo Marakwet, she did not get full police honors as is customary for departed policemen.
Kangogo will not be given the typical military send-off for a slain officer.
Kangogo, who was wanted for the murders of her colleague John Ogweno and Juja-based businessman Peter Ndwiga before she was discovered dead in her family’s bathroom in Nyawa, Elgeyo Marakwet County, will also not be cremated, as she allegedly stated in text messages found in her phone’s draft folder.\
