The ODM leader hon. Raila Odinga has today Sunday 17th october received blessing from Freedom fighter and wife to field marshal Dedan Kimathi of the Mau mau freedom fighters Mukami Kimathi.
The former prime minister lauded her on her struggle for the independence of Kenya as a republic.
“She was detained alongside wives of other freedom fighters. She is a freedom fighter like others.” Raila remarked.
Raila also petitioned the British government to compensate the freedom fighters and ask them for forgiveness for the pain they went through.
Rails said this at Mukami Kimathi’s home in Nairobi.
