The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) barred Jimi Wanjigi, the presidential flagbearer of the Safina party, from contesting the presidency on Monday, June 6.
Wanjigi was unable to show a genuine degree certificate, which is one of the constitutional prerequisites for holding the country’s highest position.
The millionaire businessman had sent a document stating that he had completed his study and would be graduating in December.
It is very clear what is going on here, there is a very clear mchujo that is being decided somewhere else and not here, if this is the direction as a commission then I fear for the nation in the coming election.
